About the Company:LHH is partnering with a prominent firm based in Fort Worth, TX, that currently seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their team.
About the Role:The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounts payable and receivables, general ledger entries, reconciliations and assisting with month end close.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries.
Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.
Analyze account balances and activities.
Assist with month end and year end close
Analyze and review profit and loss statement.
Provide necessary support for external reviews and audits.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Assist Controller with ad-hoc reporting and special projects as requested.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Minimum of 1+ year of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
