North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T) is a public, doctoral research, land-grant institution, and has been the largest historically Black university in the country for the past decade. With an enrollment of more than 14,000 students in the fall of 2024, the university offers 59 undergraduate degree programs, 35 master’s programs, and 11 doctoral programs.The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (VCSA) will join N.C. A&T at a time of great promise and vibrant, community-engaged collaboration around enhancing the student experience. The VCSA leads all aspects of student life that enrich and promote the intellectual and personal growth of all students at the University. A member of the Chancellor’s Cabinet, the VCSA oversees all departments within the Student Affairs division, assumes all budgetary and strategic planning goals related to the development and support of student life programming, and develops relevant policies and practices that ensure student well-being and development.The ideal candidate will have several years of experience as an executive-level student affairs professional and will hold an advanced degree. A highly visible, personable, and responsive leader who values collaboration with colleagues and across divisions, the next Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs should have good insight into the best ways of serving students that are positioned for optimal success in the future.This is a full-time position that will be performed on-site in North Carolina.
