Join a mission-driven non-profit organization as a Staff Accountant. The successful candidate will have experience with loan draws, job costing, and preparing financial statements. This is an excellent opportunity to join an inclusive workplace that offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days remote).

Responsibilities:

Manage financial aspects of development projects, ensuring alignment with budgets.Prepare and review draw packages for submission to lenders.Oversee job cost reporting and project budget reviews with Project Managers.Process and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and contract alignment.Coordinate activities from pre-development and construction through project stabilization.Assist with year-end audits, cost certifications, and financial compilations.Generate financial reports utilizing Yardi software.

For background check purposes, material duties of this position include managing financial aspects, preparing and reviewing loan draw packages, overseeing job costing reporting and reviewing project budgets, processing and managing invoices, assisting with year-end audits, and generating financial reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; a combination of education and 7 years' experience may substitute for education requirements.2 years of accounting experience within real estate development.Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Proficient in Yardi Voyager.Solid understanding of job costing, real estate accounting principles, and financial statement preparation.Strong analytical skills with financial data and budgets.Experience in affordable housing or non-profit organizations.Familiarity with contract management within development projects.Knowledge of grant reporting and treasury functions.Ability to assist with year-end audits, cost certifications, and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.

Salary Range:

$69,950 to $94,648*The above represents the lowest to highest

expected
