The development team works on integrating new OS and packages to support our Cloud infrastructure and public cloud infrastructure. Being responsive to our customers and delivering industry-leading mission-critical solutions require precise engineering and a philosophy of continuous improvement, both areas in which Zscaler engineers excel.We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Core Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) team. Reporting to the Director, DevOps Engineering, you'll be responsible for:You will work on development requirements of VZEN virtual appliances and fix customer-reported VZEN issues.You will work on ZIA Virtual appliances OS images creation and management pipeline.You will use C, C++, GO, Ansible, Terraform and Python scripts to develop ZIA applications and automation tasks.You will automate CI-CD pipelines, handle ZIA code DEV clouds deployment, monitoring and work on ZIA build optimization tasks.You will manage and resolve tickets to provide Developers requested Infrastructure in a KVM/ESXI/OpenStack environment.What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)5 years' experience with software infrastructure-focused roles supporting Linux/FreeBSD platform.Programming proficiency in C and Python.Broad and in-depth knowledge and technical experience with Windows/Linux or FreeBSD operating systems or Virtual environments and related hardware.Experience with cloud technologies such as OpenStack, VMware-ESXi, AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.Experience with high-bandwidth, high-speed storage networks and data archiving systems.What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Experience with C++, Python, Ansible, Terraform or Shell scripting.At Zscaler, we believe that diversity drives innovation, productivity, and success.
