About the Position:

You will serve as a project manager/staff action officer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, implementing Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives throughout a geographically dispersed enterprise, seeking to provide a framework to capture, harness, and exploit intellectual capital.Who May Apply:

One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) utilizing various software, analytical tools, and technologies to capture and facilitate knowledge transfer, knowledge sharing, and content creation in support of an organization's knowledge management program; 2.) creating and maintaining an online portal for knowledge dissemination and knowledge management; 3.) training others on utilizing knowledge management systems; and 4.) partnering with a variety of personnel, administrative, technical, and professional, across an organization to effectively share, initiate and teach knowledge management strategies, approaches, and initiatives of the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
