About the Position:Serves as the Corps Water Infrastructure Financing Program (CWIFP) senior underwriter. Expected to evaluate requests for CWIFP credit assistance including analyzing borrower financials and designing appropriate credit structures for CWIFP loans to support loans to municipal, corporate, and project finance borrowers. Negotiates CWIFP credit instruments with prospective borrowers, ensures inclusion of terms and conditions to protect the Federal credit security.

Minimum Qualifications:In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes experience with municipal, project, and corporate infrastructure finance; determining needs of prospective borrowers for loan products such as bonds, certificates of participation, etc.; utilizing infrastructure finance cash flow modeling; drafting annual financial statements, such as 10-ks, balance sheets and income statements, etc.; and developing Intercreditor agreements and trustee/ordinance structures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement:
