About the Position:

This is a Standing Register Announcement. Applications expire after 90 days and referrals will be pulled as needed. You will function as a Project Manager for the Corps of Engineers assigned to the Planning, Programs and Project Management Division. Responsible for overall planning, execution, control and closure of high-dollar value, national priority, environmentally sensitive and/or urgent civil works projects.Who May Apply:

One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects. Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of a project in coordination with other functional elements. Assist in the evaluation of the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives.Specialized Experience for GS-13:

One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects. Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of project in coordination with other functional elements. Monitor project performance and report on the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives. Lead the development and implementation of Project Management Plans (PMP).You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:Cost Estimation and AnalysisOral CommunicationProject ManagementProject Planning, Design, and ConstructionTime in Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).-For GS-12 - Applicants must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).- For GS-13 - Applicants must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
