Come see for yourself!Underdirect supervision of the General Diagnostic Manager and Medical Director, theRadiologic Technologist (RT) will produce diagnostic images utilizing a varietyof radiographic equipment. Fix radiographic, fluoroscopic, and mobile equipment following prescribed protocols and procedures. As the RT, you will competentlyperform radiographic procedures on neonates, infants, children, adults, andgeriatric patients. Complete all studies in a timely and efficient manner andproduce film images utilizing Digital Radiography, image processors, and processas prescribed standards.Duties include but are not limited to:Assist in performing steriletechnique procedures as required.Assist Radiologist as needed.Follow established qualityassurance procedures.Maintain patient dignity andconfidentiality.Patient education prior to theexamination.Preparation of needed supplies andequipment set up.The RT isexpected to support UCLA healthcare radiology locations in the Santa Monicaand Westwood region.

Radiologic Technologists need to possessthe skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance ofduties assigned to the position; graduate of a Radiologic Technology TrainingProgram approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training,maintaining current CRT, CRT - Fluoro, and ARRT licensure.Salary: $46.21 - $56.32 Hourly

QualificationsARRT certification - required.CRT license - required.Fluoroscopic permit - required.BCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required.Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program graduate.Ability to adapt to advancement and changing technology.Ability to identify and recognize contraindications for exams. (Radiology Only)Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and diplomatically interact with patients, visitors, hospital staff, physicians, and other outside offices both in person and over the phone.Knowledge of medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses.Skill in employing independent decision making while performing various job functions.
