Summary of Position
Lumien Lighting is a fast-growing landscape lighting manufacturer based out of Kennesaw, GA looking for a full-time Regional Account Manager (remote) to join our team! In this position, the Regional Account Manager reports to the VP and has responsibility for the continuous sales development of their assigned territory. Yearly and monthly sales goals are set by the company in conjunction with the Regional Account Manager and it is their responsibility for all the sales and service aspects for the territory (existing and new distributors).
Summary of Territory
As shown above, the assigned territory is as follows:
Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California
There is one distributor in Washington that is excited to grow, but this territory for the most part is completely new. You would be able to grow this market and make it your own. More information can be shared in the interview process.
Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to)
Work to exceed monthly sales goals while being accountable for maintaining and expanding our dedicated region
Work closely with the executive team on region-specific strategies and mentor opportunities in the area
Educate new and existing distributors on the advantages of Lumien Lighting product lines
Manage relationships with local contractors; assist with troubleshooting and project design when necessary
Work with the Marketing Team to design marketing materials as needed
Attend local and national trade shows
Plan events in your local territory to train distributors and contractors on Lumien Lighting products
Qualifications
3+ years of landscape lighting/green industry sales experience or a comparable sales market
Strong sales skills; able to speak to large groups of people
Great positive attitude and effective communication skills
Excellent time-management and follow-up skills
Ability to travel in the assigned territory
