Our clients commitment to innovation and excellence drives their success, and they are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their team in San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including journal entries, month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. This role also involves significant duties related to internal audits and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to meet critical deadlines, and the capability to provide in-depth analysis of financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.

Lead and support internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Conduct inventory analysis and prepare related journal entries.

Prepare commission analysis and reports

Review and manage expense reports, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Assist with external audits and ensure timely and accurate submission of required documentation.

Participate in various accounting and finance projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

$60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
