Job Title: Automation TesterWork Location: Hybrid - Washington, DC and Remote (Onsite 3 days/week required)Clearance Required: Secret

Job Summary:

Alpha Omega is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our team. The role of the Automation Tester is to provide thought leadership to clients in building and delivering test automation solutions required to implement QA/IV&V programs successfully. Focus on building robust, agile, and reusable enterprise scale test automation frameworks that will enable efficient processes for designing, developing, and implementing functional and performance testing across multiple projects. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends to act as an adviser to the team, driving innovation and problem resolution. Participate in business development activities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Define test automation strategy and build required testing framework and architectureCreate a technical implementation plan for selected test automation and build documentation for supporting processes and proceduresBuild a Proof of Concept (hands-on) for developed solutions and demo it to customers and internal teamsMonitor test automation solution performance, architecture changes, and tested applications portfolio updates to formulate a vision for growth and optimizationPlan and perform functional, UI/UX, performance/load, and section 508 compliance testingDevelop a process for collecting test coverage, automation, and defect-tracking metricsProvide guidance, training, and mentoring on implemented test automationPrepare for integrating the developed test automation platform with the CICD pipelineParticipate in business development activities, including demo creation and presenting to clientsEvaluate test automation/management tools performance and provide improvement recommendationsEffectively convey the technical concepts and suggested solutions to internal and customer teamsRequired Skills/Experience:

5+ years of experience using one or more of the following testing toolsets and frameworks: Selenium components (WebDriver, Grid, etc.), Protractor, Jasmin, Cucumber, Gherkin, JUnit, TestNG, GitHub, and Bitbucket or similar toolsGood experience with performance testing, hands-on implementation, and automation (JMeter, LoadRunner)Familiar with UI/UX and 508 testingExperience in custom, COTS, and Web application testingExperience providing strategic technical consulting to senior federal customersStrong communicationPreferred Skills/Experience:

CI/CD, DevOps (Github, Jenkins)Testing and automation tools (SonarQube, accelQ, Functionize, Katalon Studio, TestRail)Familiar with Cloud infrastructures (AWS)
