Duties and Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Director is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, policy development, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The HR Director works closely with the executive team to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team on key organizational and management issues.

Design and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local laws.

Ensure legal compliance throughout human resources management.

Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain high-quality employees.

Develop and implement performance management systems.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions.

Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.

Conduct salary benchmarking and manage payroll administration.

Identify training needs and oversee the design and implementation of training programs.

Promote professional development and career advancement opportunities for employees.

Lead initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Manage change initiatives and support the organization through transitions.

Develop and utilize HR metrics to analyze trends and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in HR management, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role, including payroll experience, with a preference for familiarity with Paylocity systems.

Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and providing expert guidance on legal matters affecting the organization.
