Risk ManagerKey Role:

Manage the application of analytical risk management principles to prepare for, prevent, mitigate, and respond to risks. Develop and maintain the Program Risk Framework, Risk Management Plan, and Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) to document processes, activities, instructions, best practices, and lessons learned. Analyze trends, conduct assessments, report results, propose risk reduction measures, manage risk response activities, and provide oversight and training to Risk Management Specialists, Risk Owners, and the Program Management Office on risk management processes, requirements, tools, and techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience developing and maintaining the Program Risk Framework, including overall risk appetite and risk tolerance parameters that align with the program’s strategic priorities

Experience building and updating the Program Risk Management Plan and Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) to document processes, activities, instructions, best practices, and lessons learned

Experience collaborating with project managers across the program to tailor risk management processes to each project

Knowledge of industry best practices to continuously improve processes to optimize risk governance and enable effective risk identification, assessment, prioritization, response, and monitoring of the most critical risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the program

Ability to conduct threat, criticality, vulnerability, and risk assessments and report the results and propose risk reduction measures for leadership decision

Ability to apply communication expertise to convey meaningful insights to complex issues and explain findings to teammates and executives

Ability to apply excellent analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and a strict attention to detail, including analyzing problems, conducting research, evaluating options for action, and providing thoughtful recommendations at a strategic level

Ability to suggest initiative and creative recommendations to solve business problems

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

Experience operating in high-risk, OCONUS environments

Experience managing a client-facing Risk Management Program

Knowledge of C6ISR collection, analysis, and intelligence production

Ability to coordinate mission assurance with stakeholders across the program

Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP), or similar certifications

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
