: The Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Manager will function as a lead worker for developing, supporting, and maximizing the efficiency of SHA's CADD environment, its custom configurations, manuals, and guidelines. This position will also work with ProjectWise, SHA's project and design collaboration software. The Lead CADD Manager will work to develop CADD design standards and processes, to support our civil engineering migration to 3-D design and e-construction. This position will also be a technical liaison between SHA and Bentley with regards to design needs, challenges, software evaluation, upgrades, and implementation. This position provides CADD management for users across SHA, with actions impacting contractors and consultants doing business with SHA.MDOT offers a generous and competitive benefits package. MDOT Benefits GuideQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Education : Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.Experience : Six (6) years of experience in administrative staff or professional work.Selective Qualification:

Three (3) years of the required experience must include management of Bentley CADD resources and Bentley ProjectWise.

*This statement contains a selective qualification, which is more focused in scope than the minimum qualifications for this classification.Preferred Qualification:Experience with the custom configuration of Bentley products, including MicroStation V8i, InRoads V8i, OpenRoads Designer, Open Bridge Modeler, ProjectWise Client, ProjectWise Administrator, maintenance of a ProjectWise Managed Workspace and Bentley Cloud ServicesExperience in using Agile and/or Iterative methodologiesNotes:1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience.2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in administrative staff or professional work for the required experience.3. Candidates may substitute the possession of a master's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in administrative staff or professional work for the required experience.4.
