$30 - $33 an hour DOEThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting with financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing processes.Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain accurate financial recordsReconcile bank and credit card statementsProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsAssist with month-end closing processesPrepare financial statements and reportsAnalyze financial data to identify trends and variancesEnsure compliance with accounting regulationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred1+ years of GL accounting experienceProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:Benefits vary depending on employerBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
