Responsibilities:
Transactional Accounting:Complete month-end closing process in timely mannerPrepare and record monthly journal entriesPerform balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations, amortization schedules, prepaid and deferred expenses, etc.Reconcile intercompany balances across divisions and sub-divisionsWork with Accounts Payable and Receivable departments to ensure accuracy of transactional accountingAssist division finance leads in preparing cost allocation models, and reconciling divisional allocation expense.Reporting:
Assist Finance Manager to maintain Streamland Media Divisional Reporting models.Generate monthly Divisional financial statements, for internal management reportingAssist division Finance leads and Controllers in creation and analysis of monthly key performance indicatorsAccounting policies and procedures:
Ensure material conformity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or another accounting standard where appropriateCompliance:
Assist Finance Manager and Corporate Controller with year-end audit and tax reportingPrepare and submit quarterly state and local tax filings for several remote facilitiesRequired Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerpointPreferred Skills:
CPA a plusKnowledge of entertainment industry a plusExperience with SAP and/or Xytech a plusEducation:
High School education or equivalent required.BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent field required.
