LHH is working with an amazing Financial Services company located in San Jose who is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join the team. As a company, they are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients while offering amazing growth potential to their employees. They are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial statements and the month end process.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the month-end financial close process, including, but not limited to the preparation of journal entries, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Prepare and analyze data from CRM and export/import into general ledger
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and provide revenue projections for programs
Record all expenses
Build reports and dashboards to track and analyze results
Provide support and assistance with year-end close, annual audit and tax return preparation
Work closely with department leads to review monthly budget to actual variances
Provide support with monthly activity reconciliations
Prepare bank accounts reconciliations
Assist with projects as required
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance
Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounting and Finance
Financial Services industry experience preferred
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail, professional, and a team player
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
