Senior Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established company located north of Boston. The Senior Accountant will be hands-on in all general ledger accounting and get involved in complex areas within fixed assets, variance analysis, and budgeting.
The Controller is targeting a driven Senior Accountant with GAAP accounting, fixed assets, and intellectual curiosity to join the team. The firm offers a competitive compensation, profit-sharing plan, and comprehensive employee benefits. In-office schedule with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
Perform month end close activities (journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, etc.)High-volume fixed-asset accounting (depreciation schedules, purchases, disposals)Analyze P&L and expense variancesContribute to annual audit procedureEnsure accurate US GAAP accounting standards are metPlay a key role in implementing new ERP systemSupport the Controller with ad-hoc projects as neededQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of complex GAAP accounting experienceIntermediate to advanced ExcelExperience with processes improvements and systems implementationsExcellent analytical and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
