LHH Recruitment Solutions as partnered with a manufacturer and distributor of technical building products located in Philadelphia, PA. We are in search of a temporary Staff Accountant. This assignment is expected to run for 6 months.

Salary:

$30-$33/hr.

About the position:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing general accounting functions including processing invoices, tracking, and reporting expenses, check runs, inventory analysis, accounts receivable. You will work alongside other Staff Accounts, Operations, and Project Management teams. The Staff Accountant should be an experienced and organized individual with a drive to follow and improve procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:Match purchase orders and packing slips with corresponding invoices.

Perform accounts receivable functions in accordance with company policy and general accounting principles.

Investigate and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders.

Track expenses and process expense reports and credit card charges.

Perform general accounting functions in accordance with company policy.

Prepare and perform check runs.

Assist with month end closing, physical inventory counts, and analysis. Manage communication with warehouse regarding inventory planning and assemblies.

Validate and process inventory receipts for payment.

Complete special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

Working knowledge of accounting principles, processes, procedures, and standards

Manufacturing and/or inventory management experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks

Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively without loss of accuracy.

Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Pay Details:

$30.00 to $33.00 per hour
