Join HDR during Summer 2025 for an internship in our Transportation Business Group focusing on CAD.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of CAD Intern, we'll count on you to:Collaborate on CAD design for transportation projects, producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.Support in CAD reviews, quantity estimation, cost estimates, and report generation.Maintain organized documentation, coordinate with engineers, and stay updated on industry standards and software changes.Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPAPreference given to local/regional candidatesKnowledge of Bentley Microstation and OpenRoads softwareA good working knowledge of producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.
Required Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programAttention to detail a mustMust possess strong problem-solving and communication skillsBasic Microsoft Office skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
