Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior Highway Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Manage all preliminary aspects of highway/freeway projectsLead and develop roadway staffMonitor the quality of design and technical service delivery on transportation projectsPerform on technically complex projects and acts as a technical resource by providing guidance to other team membersEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staffCoordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to ensure that work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-to scheduleWork with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller, Area Manager, and company management for project reviews as neededImplement QA/QC proceduresMaintain professional engineering registrationPerform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in EngineeringA minimum 10 years related experienceA minimum 5 years project management experience delivering highway/freeway projectsTexas PE licenseMS OfficeTechnical experience with the ability to mentor and oversee development of junior staffGood communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
