in Chicago, Kansas City, Denver, or Dallas.Candidate Profile:JD
from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.Bar Admission
in
Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, or Texas required,
as applicable.3+ years
of experience in e mployee benefits and executive compensatio n matters.Expertise in
drafting, designing, implementing, and administering tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare benefit plans.Experience with
executive compensation and benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions , and t axation issues related to executive compensation arrangements (including Sections 409A and 280G of the Internal Revenue Code).Proficiency in
designing and drafting employment and other executive compensation arrangements .Strong writing, drafting, and communication skills, along with a high level of ambition, drive, and team-orientation.Key Responsibilities:Draft and design tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, and executive compensation arrangements.Handle executive compensation and benefits issues related to mergers and acquisitions.Address taxation issues related to executive compensation arrangements, including Sections 409A and 280G.Collaborate with a team to support and grow a national practice.Why Join? $230,000 to $330,000,
depending on experience, along with a discretionary bonus based on performance.
