Job Description:
With a range of accountabilities, from providing administrative and scheduling support to being a candidate’s initial exposure to the Ventas culture, the
Recruiting Coordinator
is a critical member of the Ventas Human Resources team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across functions, helping ensure Ventas attracts and hires excellent talent.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, schedule and track candidate interviews, including booking travel arrangements when needed; organize and schedule post-interview debrief/feedback meetings with interview teams
Using DocuSign and internal systems, produce and maintain offer letters and contracts; Ensure documents (applications, background checks, pre-employment assessments) are completed and saved appropriately
Administer pre-employment candidate assessments
Create and provide behavioral based interview guides to interviewers
Request, monitor, and follow up on pre-employment background checks and drug screenings
Maintain staffing contracts and recruitment resources, and coordinate new vendor set up
Assist with the system administration of the applicant tracking system
Assist with recruiting marketing efforts, including attending on-site campus career fairs and posting open positions to college job boards
Assist in coordinating Summer Internship Program
Make recommendations on improving recruitment, new hire and other HR processes
Assist with other projects as needed
Depending on career goals of Coordinator and opportunity, may provide sourcing support and perform initial phone screens
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
A minimum of 1 year experience in recruiting, human resources, or administration
Knowledge and prior experience with applicant tracking systems, specifically Workday, a plus but not required
Collaborative, flexible work style; willingness to reach out to stakeholders to gather necessary information
Excellent follow-up skills
Strong organization, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Fast learner; proficient with Outlook Calendaring, Word, Excel, and general ease with technology
