The Infrastructure team provides AWS and Amazon.com with the compute, network and data center capacity that are the foundations of the retail and cloud business.Amazon is seeking a motivated and driven data center supply chain manager to support the Americas data center construction space. The candidate should have extensive supply chain and procurement know how, expert on supply chain business and technical analysis, in depth knowledge of data center construction supply chain, expertise on multiple sourcing categories within building construction, analytical and financial acumen, communication capabilities and a hands-on passion to dive-deep into processes used in our data center operations network. Additionally, candidate must have proven skills in managing large-scale supply chain and procurement improvement projects.This candidate will work collaboratively and transparently with multiple business units, construction, energy, power, sustainability, procurement, legal, public relations, and others to ensure alignment between business priorities and goals. In addition, this manager will develop supply chain risk mitigation and supplier enhancement strategies and manage key initiatives and business objectives.The ideal candidate thinks long term, drives multiple initiatives, communicates appropriately and influences customers and suppliers at all levels. You will be collaborative, but also work with significant autonomy. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or other field from an accredited university or 3+ years Amazon experience6+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience including supply chain analysis and modeling, vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement and supplier relationship management within Construction and or automotive industry.6+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management and operationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization, logistics, experience with supply chain analytical models and experience with construction supply chain is preferredExperience in data centers, engineering, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology companyStrong track record of creative problem solving using lean principles, and the desire to create and build new processes.Experience measuring key operational metrics (e.g., order cycle time, ship estimate accuracy, on time and complete shipment, inventory record defect rate), practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, bench-marking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.).Strong quantitative, financial and qualitative analytical skills paired with hands-on attitude, excellent attention to detail, and good business judgmentStrong leader who can drive category strategies, develop pricing models, and has influence across all levels of an organizationExperience developing tools, reports, process maps, scorecards, and data visualizations that improve upon those currently employed for understanding the business and making decisionsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
