clearance to be considered.The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to senior executives, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and overseeing travel arrangements. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that the executive’s office operates smoothly and efficiently.Compensation & Benefits:Estimated Starting Salary Range for

Executive Assistant : $117,962 per year. Pay commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Executive Assistant Responsibilities Include:Ensure proposals and orders are promptly directed to the proper offices as instructed by AUKUS leadership.Design and implement knowledge management systems to track assignments and maintain documentation.Accompany AUKUS leaders to meetings, prepare relevant materials, and handle travel-related tasks.Manage official communications, schedules, and briefing materials; arrange social and travel logistics.Transmit instructions, take meeting notes, and handle special assignments with diplomacy.Assist in preparing correspondence and reports, working with senior contacts across various agencies.Serve as liaison for HR and administrative matters, including timekeeping, IT support, and conference room scheduling.Assist in onboarding new staff, process new hire paperwork, and manage equipment and security access.Schedule and manage TS and TS/SCI level meetings, ensuring proper handling of classified materials.Mentor junior and temporary staff assigned to S/AUKUS.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Executive Assistant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma or GED with five (5) years experience in clerical functions, office administration, international politics/foreign policy, military/defense or security cooperation.Experience in foreign affairs, clerical work, office administration, travel planning, complex logistics, political-military affairs, foreign affairs, and defense security cooperation, or academic research support preferred.Experience as an assistant to Senior Executive Service/Senior Foreign Service officials, including managing schedules, briefing memoranda, and travel arrangements preferred.Prior experience working with the Department of State or another federal department or agency preferred.Prior experience in managing HR and/or IT and facilities maintenance issues preferred, particularly in U.S. government contexts.Experience working with Microsoft Office applications for product creation (Word, Excel, Publisher, and/or PowerPoint) and for knowledge management (Teams and/or SharePoint) preferred.Ability to work independently to assess priorities and manage daily coordination of details without repeated requests for guidance from supervisors.Experience with travel management, preferably experience with E2 solutions.Ability to solve problems and encourage consistent, solid performance.Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities in multiple locations, act decisively in daily work, and work well in a multi-cultural team environment.Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.English language (written and spoken) communication skills.This position requires an active
