We are currently seeking a skilled Worker's Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in worker's compensation law, with experience representing employers and insurance carriers in defense of claims. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, handling a diverse caseload and advocating on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities
Represent employers and insurance carriers in worker's compensation cases from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on worker's compensation matters.Work closely with other attorneys and staff to achieve client objectives and deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Valid license to practice law in the relevant state.Proven experience in worker's compensation defense.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
