We are seeking an experienced

Insurance Defense Attorney

with a focus on

Personal Injury Defense

to join our team. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, providing legal representation for insurance companies and corporate clients in personal injury claims. You will be responsible for managing cases from inception through resolution, including conducting depositions, attending hearings, preparing legal briefs, and trial work.

Key Responsibilities

Represent insurance companies and clients in personal injury defense casesConduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and draft motionsAttend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trialsPrepare detailed and timely client reports outlining case progress and strategyCollaborate with clients and provide legal guidance on case strategyWork independently while managing a full caseload and meeting billable hour requirementsBuild strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Louisiana Bar3-5 years of experience in insurance defense and personal injury litigationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle a fast-paced environment and manage deadlinesProven ability to manage cases independently and effectivelyStrong organizational and time management skills
