The Washington Waldorf School is seeking a Front Office Coordinator effective immediately to provide reception and administrative assistance for the efficient operation of the Front Office. This is a full-time hourly position.Required hours are Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-6:00pm and Friday 7:45am-6:00pm.
Major Responsibilities and Duties include the following:

Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff •
Warmly greet and direct campus visitors/parents •
Receive, sort and distribute mail, messages, documents and other deliveries •
Maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes •
Flexibility to support school administrative functions as needed •
Be knowledgeable and current on school activities, programs, and events related to the school calendar •
Managing the organization and cleanliness of the Front Office and School Lobby •
Support our school health services program by providing: Basic first aid support for students Maintaining school health space (Healing Room) organization Health forms organization and management support •
Organize, coordinate, schedule and perform a wide variety of clerical and other office functions and activities related to the administration of diverse programs and operations. Some examples of this are filing, data input, recording information, or processing and distribution of correspondence. Required Skills: •
Excellent time management and punctuality •
Proficiency with Google Workspace •
Great communication skills for supporting all stakeholders of our community •
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail •
Openness to supporting teachers in the classroom if needed •
