Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, prepare financial statements, manage payroll, manage project accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Must have experience with creating and managing WIP.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Analyze budgets and other financial information
Reconcile bank statements
Prepare financial reports and statements
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Responsible for all Construction Project Accounting
Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations
Process payroll, desktop deposits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Highly skilled with spreadsheets, pivot tables, experienced in Microsoft Excel, Great Plains, and accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
