What we're seeking:
Are you an experienced API developer who can deliver high-performance, intuitive API design and implementation? Frontier Communications is looking for a talented software engineer to assist in designing and creating the next generation of internal and external APIs to provision, manage, and deliver services to our customers. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX to complete your work responsibilities.
What we need in you:
To be successful in this role you will need strong interpersonal and organizational skills coupled with a keen attention to detail. Technically, a solid background in software development, specifically experience in REST API and .net environment will serve you well.
What you'll do:Weight % Accountabilities, Actions, and Expected Measurable ResultsFeature implementation: building new features and enhancementsMaintenance: investigate, troubleshoot, and implement fixes for bugs across all systems and tiersArchitecture: participate in the technical design of new and existing featuresRequirements analysis: consume non-technical user stories, provide feedback when necessary, translate into technical documentation, and/or using as a basis for implementationWhat we offer:

Hands-on experience delivering high-scale service-oriented architecture architecting including, REST web services with a strong preference for REST API experienceMicrosoft .NET Core FrameworkProficiency with C# and Entity Framework CoreMust be a self-starter, needing little direction, and capable of working in a fast-paced development environmentDesired Skills and Experience:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience5+ years of middle-tier and backend developmentREST API experienceSQL Server/T-SQL/NoSql experienceWorking knowledge of .Net Core 6.xWorking knowledge of Apigee and Edge Proxy developmentStrong experience and belief in writing clean / SOLID / DRY code and relentless refactoringExperience in an agile and scrum environment, working in cross-functioning teams and writing and estimating user storiesExperience with Test Driven Development, Gherkin, and Cucumber as a unit test strategyStrong Team player - pair programming (including cross-discipline QA & HTML), strong collaboration & team ownershipAccountable & Dependable - do whatever is needed to complete tasks, stories, and sprints on time. Follow through every timeExperience with a continuous integration environmentExperience with Team Foundation Server or similar source control system such as gitImpact and Influence:
