link/button.The Director of the Graduation Center position is responsible for but not limited to:Directing and supporting the Graduation Center while planning and setting goals or objectives for the department.

Approve time/leave requests for Graduation Center employees.Conduct annual evaluations on Graduation Center employees.Construct academic requirement checklist to ensure no errors occur while clearing students for graduation.Send queries to campus registrars to ensure correct diploma printing.Issue Degree Verification letters to students for employment opportunities.

Monitoring the Graduation process for the desired term/semester.

Compile a list of graduates for each term/semester and divide an alpha split between Graduation Center employees.Ensure all correspondence regarding missing requirements are sent to students before the last day to drop or add a course.Provide SGRD Query to all Registrars and Records office.Correspond with Crystal Bishop for all Nursing students to approve and include all Nursing students in the Audit System.Enter all Anticipated Completion dates in SACP and SGRD to ensure graduation application processed.Approve Graduation Application Appeals and designate to the proper Graduation Specialist.Graduate all term/semester students pending each graduation.Provide grade queries to the Graduation Center during End of Term processing.

Provides direction and oversight to a designated number of students based on the degree audit evaluation.

Clear each Troy Campus Graduate level student.Assist Academic Records with moving courses for an individual student's evaluation.Clearance of Accelerate students for each term.Submit Graduation Application for each Accelerate student at the STEM Academy.Advise courses for Accelerated students' successful completion.

Verifying documentation along with completion for a graduate's desired degree.

Contact each student regarding missing requirements, course substitutions, and 8-year waivers.

Maintenance and construction of the definitive computer system used for classification of graduates.Participates in planning and organizing commencement ceremonies.Training of new employees and assisting in continued training for current employees.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree OR College level coursework AND 3 years’ experience in a higher education setting.Two years supervisory experience required.Must be proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.Must possess strong interpersonal skills.Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Troy University Datatel and Degree Audit System.Knowledge in advising, admissions, and transcript evaluation.Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility.Work Hours: Standard office hours.List any hazardous conditions or physical demands required by this position: N/A.Does this position have supervisory responsibility?Required Documents
