The position will be in our Commercial Vehicle solutions from the ZF Group, providing the capability to shape the future of commercial transportation systems. ResponsibilitiesMaintain compliance on Supplier Quality activities for all sourced suppliers as defined by QD83.Develop and maintain Incoming Inspection Plans in compliance with IATF requirements.Work with Plant Operations team to understand Supplier non-conformances and notify suppliers via Supplier Communication Platform.Manage sorting activities related to Supplier quality rejects.Lead Problem Solving activities with Suppliers to ensure effective Corrective and Permanent Actions are deployed for non-conformances.Lead Supplier Non-Conformity Cost (SNCC) Recovery.Work with Cross-functional teams to review and assess Supplier Deviations and Change Requests.Support/Lead Escalation Level-1 activities with quality distressed Suppliers.Support Warranty Group in response to Warranty Claim Management on Supplier Components.Summarize Monthly Plant Supplier Performance Report (PPM, Complaint Ratio, SNCC).Support/Lead Supplier Maintenance Programs tied to Maintenance audits, Re-validation PPAP’s.Participate in External Supplier APQP activities.Lead/Support Inter-Company APQP activities.Be an active member of Plant Change Management Team.QualificationsMinimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in production or industrial engineering.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.Understanding of AIAG and customer specific APQP and PPAP requirements.Ability to read blueprints and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) concepts and applications required.Strong background in Statistical Quality Control methods and continuous improvement required.Strong knowledge of Problem Solving tools like Trial and Error, Ishikawa Diagram, 5-Why, Is-Is not.Knowledge of FMEA, control plans, R&R studies, fail-safe systems required.Prior experience with several commodities including aluminum die castings, forgings and machining, electronics, electro-mechanical (preferred).Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Lean Certified preferred.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
