The Litigation Paralegal II will focus on pre-suit matters including the investigation and case development, mediation, and arbitration. The ideal candidate will have high-level attention to detail skills, as well as strong time management abilities.Responsibilities

Request documents from clientAssist in preparation of team snapshots for meetingsUpdate claims databasePrepare Response to Notices of ClaimsPrepare Work Authorization AgreementsRequest copies of inspections and estimatesTrack mediation outcomes, settlements, and tender of paymentsDraft settlement agreements, signatures, and fund disbursementsAssist in drafting responses to Demands for Arbitration and DiscoveryPrepare claim for final hearingDraft responses to complaints and discoveryPrepare materials and documents for hearingsFile and service circuit court filingsQualifications

High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferredMinimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal requiredConstruction Defect experience preferredFoley & Lardner LLP is a top-ranked law firm with offices throughout the United States and abroad.
