Job DescriptionThis role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center- Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum.

The Brand Campaign Lead is a key role within Brand Marketing to ensure that Brand and its agency partners flawlessly execute through cross-functional collaboration and optimal delivery.

The Campaign Lead is the driving force behind projects and business objectives with a strategic mindset that ensures smooth execution from project initiation to delivery. They are solution-driven, organized, foster inclusive collaboration and have exceptional people skills. They oversee campaign development providing clarity of roles and ensuring key milestones, deliverables and approvals are achieved on time and within budget and scope.

The Campaign Lead will help foster a positive and collaborative work environment across Brand teams, Communications, Product, Sales, Media, PDM, Strategy, Legal, and creative & foundational agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead project management and the project management team for campaign development, resource management, and ensuring project deliverables are met.

Under the direction of the Brand Strategy Director, the Brand Campaign Lead will define project scope, goals, and deliverables and drive the planning & execution of simultaneous integrated projects across the Brand.

Within the Brand Strategy team, the Campaign Lead will track project progress and identify potential risks, manage project budget and resources, effectively anticipating, identifying, and driving resolution to eliminate bottlenecks.

General delivery oversight, including but not limited to, internal & external statuses for stakeholder management; ensuring agency model and workflow is working efficiently and with high quality.

Partner with agency Project Management/Account teams, to lead the definition of deliverables and project schedules.

Track and manage talent, music and licensing rights.

Drive continual process improvement initiatives; both corporate driven as well as individually designed.

Identify and share workstream best practices.

Implement and adhere to GM process and enforce it within the team and agency partners.

Oversee and authorize purchase orders (POs) as part of managing marketing campaigns.

Monitor and uphold project budgets to ensure financial adherence and efficiency.

Verify that project briefs are approved and align with budget.

Horizon plan, identify and schedule leadership reviews.

Exemplify attention to detail and flawless execution.

Maintain annual scopes & timelines.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.

5+ years of marketing/ad agency experience required; automotive and/or diverse industry experience preferred.

Broad marketing skillset and ability to effectively collaborate across functions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Highly developed presentation skills both in the development and delivery of presentation.

Self-starter who takes initiative, values continuous learning, and collaborates effectively with others.
