Project Manager role includes providing project leadership and group management to support IC/SP pipeline critical projects.Support development leadership for numerous instrument and consumable type project needs.Lead by example supporting aggressive technical teams.Contribute to a high level of innovation with new inventions and solutions.What will you do?Review and negotiate product requirements and plans to determine time frames, resourcing, and procedures for accomplishing key projects.Establish work plans for each project in accordance with the Design Control Procedure in coordination with key stakeholders, i.e., Product Management, Marketing, Manufacturing along with R&D.Work with financial associates to establish and update project budgets and targeted product financials.Confer with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure progress through development phases while addressing project schedule and product technical risks.Create and review regular status reports, assure deliverables are completed, and provide phase exit reports for teams and management.Confer with project personnel to resolve problems.How will you get here?Bachelor's in Engineering or Physics required. PMP certification and/or Master's degree/advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 8-10 years related work experience managing NPI projects.Experience managing cross-functional teams and a portfolio of projects is preferred.Experience in analytical chemistry, diagnostic, or life science instrumentation strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesCompetency in project planning tools, i.e., MS Project required.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical, business, and legal documents.Understanding of financial parameters like revenue, spend, and ROI preferred.Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to senior management.Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and appropriate decision-making.Strategic thinking and experience responding to VOC input and optimizing “Time to Market.”Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight time and budget constraints.Experience developing teamwork with diverse functional talent.Demonstrate the company’s values – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
