DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Refreshed Tech is a fast-growing organization focused on reusing and redistributing electronic devices. Our team is comprised of motivated, positive, and intelligent team players, who are driven to personal and professional growth.
The Opportunity
The Director of Finance is responsible for managing the company’s financial planning, reporting, and analysis, and will play a key role in driving the financial strategy of the company. This role requires a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to managing the financial health of the company.

40 per week
Schedule:
Monday - Friday with schedule flexibility
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
Lead the annual budgeting process, including long-term financial planning.
Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with the executive team to support strategic initiatives with financial insights.
Financial Management:
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
Manage cash flow and forecasting to maintain financial stability and support growth.
Monitor financial performance against budget and suggest corrective actions when needed.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax reporting and audits.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Manage the relationship with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
People Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring continuous professional growth.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented finance team culture.
Set clear goals and performance metrics for the finance team and provide regular feedback.
Technology and Systems:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools.
Leverage technology to improve financial reporting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial management for technology companies.
Executive Leadership:
Collaborate with other C-Suite executives within the organization.
Attend weekly planning meetings and Leadership L10.
Schedule weekly department meetings (L10).
Develop and implement quarterly ROCKS goals, using SMART format and metrics.
Grow the internal culture and be an example of what Refreshed Tech’s culture embodies.
Make crucial decisions to help effectively scale Refreshed Tech to success.
Create and assist with future business plans, contracts, and agreements.
Mentor and grow employees within and outside of your department.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
