Senior Fiduciary Manager

to join our

offshore trustee and mutual fund administration team

at our office in

Camana Bay, Cayman Island – Hybrid work schedule.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Participating in the development and oversight of new business conversion plans, trust/funds restructurings and liquidations, and coordinate the ongoing delivery of trust services.Maintenance and monitoring of work practices, procedures and controls ensuring fiduciary obligations are met and fiduciary risks are identified, assessed and mitigated.Overseeing and managing a team to ensure the delivery of trust and administrative services, ensuring best practices, and procedures and internal controls are being followed.Assisting in the business assessment and negotiation of trust/funds documents and identification of non-standard matters that are outside BNYM Cayman’s service model and risk profile and assessment of their materiality.Attending and participating in fund meetings.Ensuring timely registration and filing of trusts/funds with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and assisting with Japanese and other fund filings in accordance with client requirements and deadlines.Providing support, advice and guidance on matters relating to establishing, restructuring, and liquidating trusts/funds in accordance with Cayman regulatory environment.Maintaining fund records (i.e. physical and digital records).Ensuring the timely preparation of Board Packs and minutes of meetings.Training and supervision of support administrative staff.Liaising with Trustee’s clients, investment managers, counsel, local regulators and affiliated delegates.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:An internationally recognized degree and membership of a professional association (e.g. law, accounting) is preferred.At least five years proven working experience in investment funds and/or unit trusts within the Cayman Islands financial services industry.Minimum of three years of audit or fund administration experience within the fund industry preferred.At least three years of managerial experience.Experience with leading and participating in Fund Meetings.Strong working knowledge of Cayman Islands legislation relevant to the Trust and Funds business as well as awareness of applicable international regulations.Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of applications.A proven leader with strong project management, excellent verbal and written communication and sound organizational skills.
