May occasionally require work during early mornings, nights, or weekends.Purpose:The Career Coach will engage Undergraduate students in a strategic career development process to assess student needs, provide coaching, facilitate connections, share feedback, and align resources based on student needs and degree programs. You will leverage your general knowledge of different industries, and experience working across different functions to meet marketplace demands while contributing to the CDO and Michigan Ross missions. You will focus on coaching students interested in pursuing careers in Consulting and Operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Career Coaching, you will oversee a cohort of 15-30 student Peer Coaches.Responsibilities*

Provide individual and group career coaching tailored to students' needs, emphasizing Consulting and Operations related careers.Translate self-assessment results, review resumes, and help with job search strategies.Create and deliver career programs and workshops according to industry trends and CDO strategy.Ensure programming aligns with the Ross Student experience.You will develop career education materials in multiple formats.Be a reliable source of information for coaching and programming within CDO and Ross.Partner with CDO's Employer Relations team to understand employer recruitment strategies.You will annually hire, train, and manage student Peer Coaches.Use feedback from Peer Coaches to enhance the career community and experience, while identifying career education gaps.Build educational programs across departments, ensuring a team culture valuing diversity, transparency, and collaboration.Be proficient in all CDO functions, including coaching, recruitment, outreach, employment data, and administration.Required Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years overall work experience in career coaching/counseling/professional recruitment or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Experience building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Experience developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the needs of different audiences.Familiarity with career counseling methods and process-oriented.Advanced knowledge of issues of concern in higher education.Application Deadline
