As a hardware and silicon validation senior staff engineer at Marvell, you'll be helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances. This team performs analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. We also validate silicon photonics, do upper electronic measurements and support the coherent digital signal programming unit. This is a niche area at Marvell, working with cutting edge technologies used by many internal and external customers around the world.What You Can Expect

Design and develop validation test plans for storage products.Bring up different hardware components on FPGA/Emulator setups, includes PCIe, DDR, and NAND interface.Develop embedded C firmware and Python scripts to automate pre-silicon validation on FPGA/Emulator setups.Debug issues with designers, validate the fix or provide proper workaround.Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans on emulation platform.Develop automation software and scripts for measurement data collection and analysis.Drive the debug and resolution of engineering issues between cross-functional teams.Wage: $145,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year. Telecommuting is permitted.What We're Looking For

Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.Experience must include three (3) years with each of the following:Implementing the firmware code and validation code using C/C++ and Python.Debugging the firmware code.Pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.Building the FPGA end-to-end Solid-State Storage Device validation environment including PCIe/NVMe/Flash Controller/Nand Memory Device.FW Development/Debug on Emulation platform like Palladium.Using Logic Analyzers (Agilent/Tektronix).Using PCIe Analyzers (PCIe Gen3/4/5) (LeCroy PCIeAnalyzer).FW Debug Tools (ARM DStream Debugger).SSD Test NVMe Test Tools like FIO, OAKGate Platform.Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements
