Manage and oversee high-level legal matters from inception through resolution, ensuring strategic and effective handling of each case.Communicate and collaborate with clients and attorneys to address legal issues and provide expert guidance.Produce high-quality legal work, meeting billable hour requirements to deliver exceptional client service.Independently manage and prioritize multiple cases, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and productivity.Engage in business development activities, both individually and within the firm, to attract and retain clients.Maintain adherence to the highest ethical standards and professional conduct in all legal matters.Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Ph.D. or Master's Degree in a Life Sciences discipline is preferred.Expertise in immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and/or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Licensed to practice law in good standing in Missouri (MO).Experience
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or in a judicial clerkship.6+ years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm is preferred.Skills
