The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a robust commitment to advancing a career in litigation.Duties:Manage and oversee high-level legal matters related to intellectual property in the life sciences field from inception to conclusion.Produce quality legal work and meet billing requirements to ensure excellent client service.Handle both strategic and tactical aspects of legal cases, demonstrating strong independent and productive work habits.Communicate effectively with attorneys and clients, providing clear and comprehensive legal advice.Assist in generating new business through individual and group efforts, while managing existing business relationships.Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in a Life Sciences discipline is preferred.Expertise in immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and/or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Licensed to practice law in good standing in Illinois (IL).Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm, with 6+ years preferred.Skills:Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality legal work.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client and attorney interactions.Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple complex legal matters.Demonstrated interest and commitment to a career in litigation within the life sciences sector.Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to business development efforts.Job Location:
