We are on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Permanent Staff Accountant with a focus on Real Estate and Construction in the Finance industry. If you are passionate about financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, this role might just be for you. You will be a key player in our finance team, working closely with senior management to provide accurate financial information and strategic insights, contributing to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all accounting operations related to our real estate and construction projects, including the management of capital projects, accounts receivable, and general ledger.2. Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.3. Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts for our real estate and construction divisions..4. Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.5. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all financial transactions and records are accurate and up-to-date.6. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and other accounting software to maintain financial data and generate reports.7. Participating in financial audits, providing necessary information and addressing any issues or discrepancies identified.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting software.4. Solid understanding of financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts receivable, and capital projects.5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.9. Intercompany reconciliations and financial statement preparation desired.
