This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in multifamily construction and a proven ability to lead and manage large teams.Key Responsibilities:-Project Oversight: Oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations.- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage on-site construction teams, including Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and subcontractors.-Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment.-Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.-Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.- Documentation: Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation of site activities, progress, and any issues or delays encountered.- Problem Solving: Identify and address any site issues or conflicts, providing solutions to keep the project on track.- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on site, ensuring clear and effective communication and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.-Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and controlling costs.- Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.Qualifications:Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management or site supervision, with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory role on multifamily projects. Experience with affordable housing projects is a plus.Skills :- Strong leadership and team management skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend)- In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsAttributes :- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills- Proactive and positive attitude- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesCertifications : OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
