EFT Operations Specialist

The EFT Specialist is responsible for managing and processing ACH transactions, bank wires, check processing, and card disputes, while upholding USC Credit Unions core values and service standards.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Check ProcessingManage FedForward and FedReceipt transactionsReview and process incoming "On-Us" items and ATM/Mobile depositsHandle check returns, adjustments, and fraud casesACH ProcessingProcess and balance ACH credit/debit exceptions.Manage ACH stop payments, returns, and fraud cases.Bank WiresProcess incoming and outgoing wires.Serve as a second verifier for high-limit and flagged transactions.Card DisputesInvestigate and resolve debit/credit card disputes.Ensure compliance with Reg E and Z for fraud and non-fraud cases.Additional EFT FunctionsBalance ledgers and mobile deposits.Manage Zelle disputes, bill pay items, and ATM transactions.Assist with audits, training, and new product implementations.Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of relevant experience.Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., Reg E, Reg Z, NACHA).Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and resolve complex issues professionally.Compensation:The hourly rate range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00.
