A well-established entertainment firm seeks a Senior Staff Accountant – Touring to join their dynamic team.ResponsibilitiesWork with Partners, Managers, Account Executives, and Assistant Account Executives on tour client accountsRequest tour itineraries and show contracts and forward those items to appropriate Insurance Brokers and Foreign AccountantsFile all tour documents in g-drive including itineraries, show contracts, budgets, etc.Create and/or review tour budgetsComplete state tax mitigation applicationsComplete foreign tax mitigation applications in certain territoriesCorrespond and work with Foreign Accountants to ensure they have all required paperwork and information to file the tax mitigation applications in certain territoriesPrepare application Form 8802 and Form 8821 requesting Form 6166 and a letter of US residency certificatePrepare Form CA590 when applicablePrepare required Canadian forms when applicablePrepare CWA budget, end of tour reporting, and provide required information to tax department when applicableEnsure insurance certificates are provided by our insurance brokers to the various vendors/promotersReview vendor contracts and any changes requested by Insurance and Legal Professionals and ensure changes are completed with vendorsRecord show settlements in Datafaction systemReview and reconcile show settlementsCode income received from Promoters and Agents in accordance with department proceduresTrack show income from Promoters and Agents while reconciling AccountsCommunicate with Promoters and Agents regarding missing income and tax certificatesTrack tax certificatesCorrespond via e-mail or telephone with agents or tax offices regarding missing tax certificatesPrepare budget vs. actual and research discrepanciesPrepare merchandise reconciliationsPrepare meeting packages and ensure the accuracy of the budget vs. actual vs. the profit and loss and general ledgersCreate commission schedules when applicablePrepare and invoice for front-end tour support from the record labelPrepare label bill backs for tours on support and promotional eventsProvide all reporting and related backup to our Australian, Canadian, and France Accountant in order for them to file the tax returnsPrepare 360 label reporting when applicableCommunicate with the client's team including Managers, Tour staff, Agents, etc.Qualifications:
