About This OpportunityIn the role of SVP, Head of Strategy, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing market trends in the wealth tech industry, creating competitive product comparisons, and identifying industry developments to help inform strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves crafting actionable insights from market and competitor analysis to inform decision-making. This role position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, the ability to execute high-priority initiatives, and a deep understanding of the wealth tech industry including a background in research and competitive intelligence. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.For External CandidatesCandidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Berwyn, PA; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KYFor Internal CandidatesAll internal employees, regardless of their current work arrangement (remote or in-office), are encouraged to apply.In This Role, You'll Get ToDevelop and execute competitive and market intelligence, including market analysis, positioning, and growth opportunitiesCollaborate with the executive team to set strategic priorities and monitor progress against key objectivesTranslate insights into actionable recommendationsEstablish processes for collecting and synthesizing intelligenceDeliver comprehensive reports and executive briefingsStay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to identify potential threats and opportunitiesCollaborate with finance, product, marketing, and other teams to ensure strategic initiatives are well-integrated and supported across OrionPrepare and coordinate materials for executive meetings, board presentations, and other high-level engagementsOversee special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO and CFOBuild and maintain strong relationships with external partners, investors, and industry leaders to advance the company's strategic objectivesWe're Looking For Talent Who HasBachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degrees are highly preferred7+ years of experience in strategy, competitive intelligence or market research, or a related field, with a strong background in the WealthTech, fintech, or financial services industriesSuperior financial analysis and modeling experienceProven leadership experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiativesStrong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable strategiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to tell the story through presentations is criticalExceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSalary Range$153,917.00 - $250,883.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
