Chief Financial Officer

Hamilton Asphalt Ltd is under the Twenty Two Group, also compromising of Page Earthworks and two natural resource quarries in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team and drive the financial strategy of our rapidly growing companies.As the CFO you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health of the companies. This role requires an experienced leader with a solid understanding of the construction industry, exceptional analytical skills, and have the ability to manage complex financial challenges in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the financial strategy of Twenty Two Group to support growth and profitability.Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and reports to the Managing Director and wider senior Management Team.Drive financial planning and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.Manage relationships with banks, auditors and other financial stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and industry standards.Evaluate and manage risk, including financial, operational, and market risks.Lead initiatives to improve financial, operational, and market risks.Lead financial meetings to improve financial performance, efficiency and cost control.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.Minimum of 10 years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years as a CFO or in a similar executive role.Extensive experience in the construction industry.Proven track record of managing complex financial operations in a high-growth environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.High level of integrity and professionalism.How to Apply:If you are a highly experienced financial leader we would like to hear from you.
