They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team and drive the financial strategy and operations of the organization.Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, including financial planning, risk management, reporting, and strategy development. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and senior management team to ensure the company's financial health and support its growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management within the construction industry and a proven track record of strategic leadership.Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of proposed projects, investments, and business ventures.Financial Management and Reporting:Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards.Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.Risk Management:Identify and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.Oversee insurance and bonding requirements specific to the construction industry.Capital Management:Manage the company’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing.Optimize cash flow and working capital to support operational and strategic needs.Oversee capital expenditures and investment decisions.Operational Efficiency:Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.Implement financial systems and tools to enhance reporting and decision-making capabilities.Ensure effective cost control and budget adherence across projects and departments.Team Leadership:Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Provide mentorship and guidance to finance staff and other key stakeholders.Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the finance department and across the organization.Stakeholder Relations:Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.Prepare and present financial information to the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders.Represent the company in financial discussions and negotiations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years of a proven track record of financial leadership and strategic planning within a large

commercial construction company.Strong understanding of construction finance, including project accounting, contract management, and regulatory requirements.
