A law firm is seeking a skilled Mid To Senior-Level Gaming Associate Attorney to join its team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive gaming law experience and be responsible for supporting litigation and regulatory matters for gaming industry clients.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to gaming industry clients in various matters, including consumer class action, gambling loss recovery actions, mass arbitrations, state Attorney General actions, and Gambling Commission investigations.Conduct legal research and analysis on gaming laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice to clients.Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related materials.Assist in managing client relationships and communicating legal strategies and updates effectively.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve client objectives and resolutions.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Illinois State Bar (IL Bar admission).Relevant experience in gaming law, preferably with a focus on litigation and regulatory matters.Proven track record of success in handling complex gaming-related legal issues and cases.Strong understanding of state and federal gaming laws, regulations, and industry standards.Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Exceptional writing and drafting abilities.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.Adaptability to evolving legal landscapes and client needs.
