A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a highly motivated

Blockchain Associate Attorney

with a deep understanding and passion for blockchain technology. The ideal candidate will have experience advising blockchain companies through various stages of growth, including venture capital financings, token issuances, corporate structuring, and Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) formation. The position also involves guiding clients through the evolving regulatory landscape and general corporate transactions for tech companies.Key Responsibilities:

Advise blockchain and cryptocurrency companies on venture capital financings, token issuances, and corporate structuring.Assist in the formation and structuring of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).Provide legal guidance on blockchain-related regulatory matters and emerging legal frameworks.Handle general corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and investment rounds for tech companies.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as equity agreements, financing documents, and governance agreements.Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and legal developments in blockchain and cryptocurrency.Collaborate with venture capital and tech companies, providing strategic advice on business and legal matters.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including internal legal teams and external clients, to ensure compliance with applicable laws.Represent clients in discussions with regulatory agencies, investors, and stakeholders.Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in

Emerging Companies Venture Capital

and/or

Blockchain/Cryptocurrency

matters within a major law firm.Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, DAOs, and related legal frameworks.Proven ability to advise clients on regulatory challenges in blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent drafting, verbal, and written communication skills.Superior interpersonal skills and ability to build strong client relationships.High motivation, with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Membership to the State Bar of DC

required.Strong academic credentials.Skills:

Deep knowledge of

blockchain technology ,

cryptocurrency regulations , and

emerging company legal matters .Expertise in corporate structuring, DAO formation, venture capital financings, and token issuances.Advanced skills in drafting and negotiating legal documents.Excellent research, analytical, and communication abilities.Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.Proficiency in identifying and solving complex legal issues in blockchain-related transactions.Job Location:
